Problems

It may look messy but I was just using a pie graph style graphic to emphasize separating their ideas when narrowing their topic.  They will make a speech next class.

This was a tough lesson to introduce.  I asked the class to tell me of a problem they could turn into a speech.  It could be a complaint of some wrong in the world or some issue they wanted to draw our attention to.

Basically I had them list 3 aspects of the problem on one side of a T diagram and consider  solutions for it.  It was to help them organize what they will say and clear up their opinions then get feedback from another student.
